Since its founding in 1948, Hako GmbH – based in Bad Oldesloe near Hamburg – has developed into a leading international manufacturer of industrial- and building cleaning products as well as outdoor cleaning and ground maintenance devices. Innovative products and a target-oriented sales & marketing policy have contributed a great deal in achieving this successful development.



The cleaning technology product segment comprises sweepers and vacuum sweepers, scrubber-driers, small building cleaning devices as well as cleaning aids and maintenance products. The municipal technology line of products offers a range of outdoor cleaning machines and compact, multifunctional implement carriers with articulated steering sold under the brand name Citymaster.

An additional programme of compact implement carriers and transporters – trading under the brand name Multicar – joined Hako by acquisition in 1998. The Multicar vehicles lead the market in this product segment. More than 80 years of experience are reflected in the multifunctional vehicles’ high quality.

Thanks to Hako’s close cooperation with a number of different manufacturers of attachment devices, the company’s implement carriers provide multifunctional and customized solutions for more than 100 applications - for municipalities, gardening & landscaping businesses, waste management companies and for employment on building sites.
